Becoming a member

Membership of the Library free to NSW residents. There is no minimum age for joining, but those under the age of 16 years require a signature and ID from their parent or guardian.

Online Library Membership:

• Access our eBook, eAudio, eMagazine, and Story Box collections.

Full Library Membership:

• Access our eBook, eAudio, eMagazine, and Story Box collections.
• Borrow and reserve books, DVDs and other physical items in the Library.

If you join online, but would like a full membership, you will need to visit the Library to upgrade your membership. You will need to present proof of your name and current address. If you are under 16, a parent or guardian will need to come with you to upgrade your membership.

Upper Lachlan Shire Residents:

• Upper Lachlan Shire Council includes Bigga, Binda, Breadalbane, Collector, Crookwell, Dalton, Grabben Gullen, Gunning, Laggan, Taralga and Tuena, if you live in one of these areas  please visit Upper Lachlan Shire Library to join.

Conditions of Membership

I agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined in the Membership and Access Policy. Terms and conditions include:

• I agree to abide by the Library Code of Conduct.
• I agree to pay the applicable fees for any items lost or damaged that have been issued to me or for minors for whom I have signed as a guarantor.
• I agree to present a valid library card to conduct Library transactions or use Library facilities.
• I agree to give notice of any change of address, email, or phone number.
• I acknowledge that the Library does not monitor and has no control over information available online or in published works and cannot be held responsible for its content.
• I acknowledge that monitoring or restricting access to collection materials and the internet by children under 16 years of age is the responsibility of the parent or legal guardian.
